"Oasis"

I wrote an algorithm to grow this sculpture, inspired by trees. The cryptid trees grow wildly in a surreal garden landsacape. Each piece is individually 3d printed.  It is an excellent gift for biologists, fans of math and algorithms, and maximalists. It is an object of art that can sit on your desk, your bookshelf, or placed on a ledge.

I am a Steve Scott, an artist who makes designs with math. None of my work is mass produced, it is all limited run, original, and nothing like what you have seen before.

◄ PRODUCTION ►

Each sculpture is individually 3D printed. 
The nylon sculptures are formed using lasers to melt the nylon dust into an object, called Selective Laser Stintering. 

The same process is used with aluminum granules, called Selective Laser Melting. 

The bronze is made in an entirely different process called lost-wax casting.

◄ CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCULPTURES ►
All the aluminum or nylon sculptures really need is a light dusting with an electrostatic duster or with a damp cloth with mild dish soap. Bronze sculptures develop a patina over time.
