Designed in NetLogo, its five-pointed fractal structure evokes a natural tree, but with a twist: smooth, spiraling limbs that rise with purpose. I am a Steve Scott, an artist who makes designs with math. None of my work is mass produced, it is all limited run, original, and nothing like what you have seen before.

◄ PRODUCTION ►

Each sculpture is individually 3D printed. 
The nylon sculptures are formed using lasers to melt the nylon dust into an object, called Selective Laser Stintering. 

The bronze is made in an entirely different process called lost-wax casting.

◄ CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCULPTURES ►
All the aluminum or nylon sculptures really need is a light dusting with an electrostatic duster or with a damp cloth with mild dish soap. Bronze sculptures develop a patina over time.
