"Twist Bouquet"

One of my algorithmic trees. The design emerges from a growth simulation I programmed myself. It is twisted around by a virtual vortex and simulated wind. It reminds me of a bouquet of flowers being whipped around in the wind. When you look at it from different angles it looks like a completely different object.

It is an object of art, suitable for bookcases, shelves, coffee-tables, centerpieces, and on your desk.

It is an excellent gift for crypto-biologists, gardeners, cyberpunks, and other future-oriented maximalists.

I am a Steve Scott, an artist who makes designs with math. None of my work is mass produced, it is all limited run, original, and nothing like what you have seen before.

◄ PRODUCTION ►

The brass sculptures are custom-made on demand.

Each sculpture is individually 3D printed. 
The nylon sculptures are formed using lasers to melt the nylon dust into an object, called Selective Laser Stintering. 

The bronze is made in an entirely different process called lost-wax casting. A 3D-printed wax is grown, the wax is cast in plaster, the wax is melted out, and bronze is injected, the same process as fine jewelry, just on a larger scale.

◄ CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCULPTURES ►
All the aluminum or nylon sculptures really need is a light dusting with an electrostatic duster or with a damp cloth with mild dish soap. Bronze sculptures develop a patina over time.
