Sierpinski Star of David - Gold Plated Brass
Couldn't load pickup availability
This gold-plated brass ornament represents mathematical perfection and the divine, the convergence of reason and reverence. It bears a strong resemblance to the Jewish Star of David, but you don't have to be Jewish to enjoy fractals and triangles. It is an excellent gift for Jewish relations, Jew-ish friends, but also secular humanists, scientists, atheists, and mathematicians, for a secular holiday gift. It can even go on a Christmas Tree.
The design started with a Sierpinski Triangle in my cellular automata experiments. I thought to myself, "How could I turn these triangles, which theoretically has an area of zero and never overlap, into a physical object?"
An ornament for seekers, thinkers, and artists alike—this is sacred geometry is available cast in sterling silver or gold-plated brass.
Note: while some pictures show a hook, now they all are on a gold-plated chain. Unless you would like a steel hook, I can provide one.
The Sierpiński triangle (sometimes spelled "Serpinski") is a classic fractal—an endlessly repeating geometric pattern that’s self-similar at every scale. It starts with an equilateral triangle, and through a recursive process, smaller triangles are removed from the center of each larger triangle, creating a lace-like structure that’s both simple and infinitely complex.

Daily Care
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your ring away from bleach, chlorine, and household cleaners, as they can damage both the gold and the diamond.
Remove Before Activities: Take off your ring before swimming, exercising, or doing household chores to prevent scratches and buildup.
Store Properly: When not wearing it, store your ring in a soft-lined jewelry box or a pouch to prevent scratches.
Cleaning Instructions
Gentle Soap & Water: Mix warm water with mild dish soap, soak the ring for 10–15 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush.
Rinse & Dry: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
Avoid Abrasive Cleaners: Never use toothpaste or rough cloths, as they can scratch the gold.
